Small Mouth Bass Reproduction
-
-
A very light fish was my reference. Not typical coloration, but then, we paint them to match YOUR reference photos.
-
-
Nice markings on this walleye after his smaller cousin.
-
-
The brilliant coloration is typical of this resident of the far north.
-
-
Cast is by Lou Wynia, the best in the business. I love to paint on his work. This is an S-curve and just a wonderful pose of a big old walleye!
-
-
A favorite angler’s trophy, found in both marine and freshwater environments.

Rainbow Trout (replica, pedestal)

-
Direct from Washington! A 40 inch steelhead. Donated by master guide, Ben Dragoo.
-
-
My customer was really happy to see how far detailing in replicas has come. This is an example of the natural swimming pose, and total inner mouth and gill detailing available today.
-
-
Compare to the original fish….we strive for a good color match from the original photo.
-
-
This phase is done in a painstaking, scale by scale detailing, largely by hand. The bright and realistic results speak for themselves.
-
-
A little closer shot showing the hand detailing. The brightest pigments and iridescent highlights hand-applied, scale by scale. The ultimate for a bright Chinook!
-
-
Most say it is a bluegill, but it sure was a beautiful fish. So much blue on it, almost looked like it had some pumpkinseed in it.
-
-
The “jumbo” variety so popular in northern climates.
-
-
A popular gamefish that is available in replicas of a wide range of sizes. We add all the goodies, like an iridescent blue-green shimmer to the top scales on the back.
-
-
This fish was sone with a freeze dry process which really preserves some a the natural coloration….and keeps all scales intact.
-
-
Please note the transparency on the fins of this top end replica, as well as the natural swimming pose.
Slab is black poplar.
-
-
Some folks like a rustic wood slab for display. This is black poplar.
-
-
Two “eyes” are better than one! these show tail up and tail down poses and compliment each other.
-
-
These fish make great skin mounts, but some nicely-curved replicas are available.
-
-
Tail down pose is my favorite, especially for big-bellied fish.
-
-
A little clearer pic of a replica with upper palate teeth molded in.
-
-
Butternut slabs give a rustic look to mounts, and are decorative by themselves.
-
-
This dandy fish replica represents one of the most beautiful freshwater gamefish…the tiger musky!
-
-
One of the most striking trophies to be had.
-
-
That is one puckered-looking mouth! Some nice replicas exist for this popular angling target.
-
-
Replica in standard grade. Eye is special “black Forest” eye.
-
-
This colorful fish is a cross between a lake trout and brook trout. They get large and taste great!
-
-
This replica fish was matched to a photo. This is important to get the colors and hook conformation.
-
-
Good pose for going after a crawfish on the bottom
-
-
This is a tail-down pose, which is much more characteristic of how these fish swim than tail up.
-
-
This fish shows a very bold pattern typical of many freshly-caught fish.Pictures a always helpful in replicating the distinct patterns.
-
-
One of the hardest fighters out there
-
-
Don’t knock the Rock! These fish are plentiful and can be great eating from cold, clean water.
-
-
This replica is that of a popular fish in our southern states.
